Kapitalmärkte Und Ethik - Ein Widerspruch
Capital market participants act without regard to ethical and moral standards. They can only be forced to act ethically through laws, regulations and penalties. Capitalism favors egoistic market participants. Only a global jurisprudence that is democratically authorised can stop this erroneous trend. If this does not succeed, new forms of society will replace capitalism.

Skizze Einer Deliberativen Theorie Unternehmerischer Verantwortung
A sociological view will be thrown on the enterprise, in order to create a sociological model of an enterprise, as well as on the term of intergenerational justice in order to uncover to politicism behind the discourse of the term. While on a pragmatic level intergenerational justice will be analysed as a discourse of Foucault's sort, a constructivist action-model will be designed which will be filled semantically with content and is supposed to serve the agent to act.

In general, compliance means: Doing what one must do, because it ought to be done. Integrity means: Wanting what ought to be done. Both sides are connected and call for each other: Compliance needs integrity - integrity needs compliance. So jar though, too little attention has been given to this dialectic interrelation, since compliance and integrity typically are understood as polar approaches. By the example of the investment bank Credit Suisse First Boston, the necessity for establishing a...
The emergence of new forms of public-private governance patterns or even private self-regulation reflects a process of political modernisation. Private self-regulation can lighten the burdens of government overload and of the ungovernability of a complex world society. But in fulfilling these functions it will have to rest on a functional division of labour between the private and the public sector. The part to be played by the public sector will be less substantial policy-making but will rat...
Globalisierung, Entwicklungspolitik Und Private Finanzierung*
Traditional development policy and development finance - both top-down approaches essentially based upon bilateral or multilateral official aid - are in deep crisis. Due to their ineffectiveness in poverty reduction, most donor countries have substantially reduced development aid over the past decade. Globalization, however, has opened up many promising private-sector alternatives to official development assistance.
Anwendung Bzw. Verletzung Ethischer Grundsätze in Der Bank- Und Finanzindustrie*
The banking industry operates in a stringent framework of regulation and supervision imposed upon it by national legislation on one side and of specific rules of self regulation by its own branch associations on the other. The remaining free space of action is being used by the banks to formulate their own ethical standards to their stakeholders. In spite of all these constraints and rules, controls and sanctions are unavoidable. The author pleads in favour of introducing ethics in banking le...
