  • Although firms increasingly rely on interfirm collaboration to explore new technological opportunities, few studies have examined the ways in which this collaboration form is governed. In this paper, we attempt to increase our understanding of governing explorative R&D alliances.   • This paper employs multiple theoretical perspectives -- resource- and knowledge-based views as well as social network theory -- to explore the dynamics of guanxi in the context of Chinese entrepreneurial firms. The researchers propose a dynamic model and offer multiple propositions for researchers to examine the role of guanxi for knowledge management and decision-making at various developmental stages of such firms.   • This article examines the impact of different cultural standards on the processes and performances of Austrian, Spanish, German and Hungarian task groups. We therefore analyzed 201 qualitative interviews with Austrians, Spaniards, Germans and Hungarians, which were conducted from 1996 to 2001. This paper uses the cultural standard framework as its theoretical background as well as the concepts of team development. The emphasis on our research is on those culture standards that have been identified as relevant for the cooperation within teams.   • This paper presents bees algorithm (BA) for null steering of linear an- tenna arrays by controlling only the element positions. The BA is an optimization algorithm inspired by the natural foraging behavior of honey bees to find the op- timal solution. To show the versatility and flexibility of the proposed BA, several examples of Chebyshev array pattern with the imposed single, multiple and broad nulls are given. It is found that the nulling technique based on BA is capable of steering the array nulls precisely to the undesired interference directions. For prac- tical consideration, the sensitivity of the produced patterns due to small variations of the element positions is also examined by rounding the element position values to the second decimal position.
