In this paper, threshold voltage modeling based on neural networks is presented. The database was obtained by performing DC analysis with possible combinations of MOSFETs terminal voltages and channel widths which directly effect threshold voltage values in submicron technology. The neural network was trained with the database including 0.25 µm and 0.40 µm TSMC process parameters. In order to prove the extrapolation ability, the test dataset is constituted with 0.18 µm TSMC process parameters, which were not applied to the neural network for training. The test results of neural network tool are compared with the data obtained by using the Cadence simulation tool. Recently, the the support vector machine (SVM) has become a popular tool in time series forecasting. In developing a successful SVM forecaster, the first step is feature extraction. This paper proposes the applications of principal component analysis (PCA), kernel principal component analysis (KPCA) and independent component analysis (ICA) to SVM for feature extraction. The PCA linearly transforms the original inputs into new uncorrelated features. The KPCA is a nonlinear PCA developed by using the kernel method. This study provides a comprehensive account of foreign establishment mode strategies of firms investing in Turkey. The results of the logistic regression modeling provide support to the hypothesized relationships that take into account the impact of host country specific motives of MNEs on their choice between acquisitions and greenfield investments. The host country motives quality of inputs and market potential have significant negative coefficients, indicating that an MNE will favor the acquisition mode over a greenfield mode as the relative importance of both motives increases. The traffic control is an essential part of autonomous movement of different kinds of vehicles in a virtual model of a (real) city. By the traffic control we mean not only collisions avoiding and optimal setting of traffic lights. The movement should be realistic enough too, so traffic (together with changing day-time/night-time and seasons of the year) significantly improves feeling of reality for a virtual visitor.
